@Mikey P Was it laundry detergent or fabric softener? Fabric softener doesn't foam and would have the pink hue you are talking about.

What causes the pink hue? I see that a lot and thought it was color loss.

Detergent, Gain I believe..

You will never get it all out but the water claw is the way to go.
Finish with an encapsulating rinse agent.

What causes the pink hue?

just the coloring of some of the products, whether it is added or part of the chemicals I don't know.
